yesterday as i watch the 'will work for food' show on tlc, i came across the word 'food stylist'. i didn't know such job exist. they make fake food for photography to look pretty in pictures for the camera to capture. well, some of them are real food, but they don't even cook it. they treat it like an art. they use spray, brushes and chemical stuff you can't eat.
i wasn't happy when i knew about this. i'm a strong believer of 'honesty is the best policy' and what you see is what you get'. so i'm kinda disappointed. no wonder some recipe i made doesn't look like the photo. hmph.
but i'm glad chef don't do this. they actually take picture of what they cook. i mean, they have their own photographer. heh. and i think that is the way should be done.
