what do you do when you find beetroot and lemon? you marry them! hahah. the perfect match made in the kitchen. hihih. alhamdulillah, thanks to my genius friends, masyaAllah, they gave me this brilliant idea! it works! subhanAllah!
since i've stopped using artificial colour, it ain't easy i tell you to get the right colour you want using natural stuff. but as barney in how i met you mother always say, 'challenge accepted!'. hahah.
the 1st attempt to make the cupcake red i use only the beetroot juice. the batter was red, but after it is baked, it is not. so the 2nd attempt, after blending the beetroot, i also put the puree in the recipe. the same thing happen. cracking my head thinking what else could work, i even thought of chili! HAHA! crazy right?
i know this is not as red as what you usually see, but it's good enough for me. hee. next time perhaps i should use more beetroot or lemon juice. heh.
